Orietta Brewer - Vice President
When Orietta Brewer was searching the Internet for an organization that would represent her needs and concerns, she found IAAP. Although only a member for a short time, she wants to help grow this chapter and help others gain from being involved in such an organization.
Orietta’s original career was in IT but, approximately five years ago, she re-engineered herself and entered the Administrative Professional field. She joined Volunteers of America – Greater New York last year as the assistant to the Chief Operations Officer. Prior to that, she had been the assistant to the Vice President of International Conservation and Research Fellowship Coordinator at the Wildlife Conservation Society, and Assistant to the Regionary Bishop of North American for the Liberal Catholic Church International.
Orietta recently completed a two-year term as Treasurer of the New York City chapter.
Orietta holds a Bachelor Degree in Management Information Systems from Pace University, a certification in data processing from the Association of the Institute for Certification of Computer Professionals, and a certificate in web design and production from New York University.
